The code of chivalry is clear in both “Sir Gawain and the Green Knight” and “The Death of Arthur.”  Choose two of the virtues of chivalry shown in “Sir Gawain and the Green Knight” OR two virtues of chivalry shown in “The Death of Arthur.”  In an essay, explain clearly how the examples you chose reveal the virtues.  Your essay must include at least one direct quotation (with proper citation), it must be multiple paragraphs, and it must have a clear introduction, conclusion, and thesis.  Avoid personal pronouns.  Limit summarization. 

You have 40 minutes to complete the writing.
