This non-lab science consists of geology, oceanography, meteorology, and astronomy. Topics convey an appreciation for the basic processes of science and an acquaintance with current problems and ideas. Students gain a better understanding of the planet on which they live.
Standard H.E.2: The student will demonstrate an understanding of the structure, properties, and history of the observable universe.
