Instructions
This assignment is to be completed while you are out of class for Thanksgiving. Hopefully you'll have a chance to speak with an older relative or friend (at least 15 years your senior). Grandparents are wonderful for this kind of assignment and love to spend time talking to grandchildren. You may begin with the questions below, but feel free to add your own to gain as much from the interview as possible.
Begin your paper by identifying who you are interviewing, their relationship to you and the method you're using (face-to-face, phone, Zoom, Facetime, etc.). Once you've gathered your information, upload a typed, double-spaced paper of no more than two pages in MLA format. As always, you have 5 days (It must be submitted before class on or before Monday, November 30--the day we return to school.) to complete this or you'll receive a zero and unexcused absence for the day.
1. What do you consider to be the most challenging part of being an adult and how do you work to meet those challenges?
2. How was life different when you were an adolescent? Did you enjoy your teenage years? Why or why not?
3. What advice could you offer to make the transition from adolescence to adulthood easier for me?
4. How did you decide on the career/vocation you have chosen? If you had it to do over, would you choose differently? Why?
5. Looking back on your life to this point, what are you proudest of? Why?
