Students learn important safety practices in the welding shop. Students observe demos and perform lab exercises using shielded metal arc welding through practice and project construction involving: shielded metal arc welding.Students will also learn different cutting methods including oxyacetylene and plasma arc cutting.

  • Welding hood, safety glasses, chipping hammer, wire brush, flint striker, welding gloves,11r vise clamp pliers and leather boots (above the ankle)
