These courses are designed to teach skills through drills and practice, rules, philosophy, coaching techniques, and sportsmanship in various sports such as baseball, basketball, football, volleyball and tennis. The proper use of the weight room is covered with an emphasis on safety. This course helps the student to develop skills to assume control and responsibility for their lifestyle. It will enable the student to use basic knowledge about the effects of nutrition and stress management, as well as exercise, in establishing a personal fitness program they can use for the rest of their life.
